Waking the Dragon with Sean Tebor
Friday, March 16th, 6:30-9 PM
Saturday, March 17th, 10am-1PM and 3-6 PM
Sunday, March 18th, 10am-1pm
Yoga holds a profound power to awaken our truest selves. There is a Dragon, a magical force coiled deep in our bellies that yearns to be discovered and released. The rising of the Dragon brings with it our deepest sense of instinct, intuition, and inner knowing.
The sacred structural and energetic geometry of the human being is extraordinary. Alignment in yoga is so much more than structure. It is a balancing of primary and subtle relationships that, when harmonized, roots us in the core and opens the gateway for the great rising up of the breath of life. The dragon begins to dance. We are connected, we are alive, and we are liberated.
In this special weekend workshop, we will explore the dance of the Dragon as the union of left and right, and of the subtle relationships in the energetic and structural body. Utilizing reflective sequencing, a method of balancing the body through the use of asymmetrical posture sequencing, we will find the release of our inner strength as our primordial dance meets the modern practice of yoga.

I think, therefore I am
An exploration of the thinking mind with Leigh Anne Neal
Saturday April 7, 1-3:30 PM
One of the blessings of the yoga practice is that it helps us learn how to direct our energy and awareness in a positive, productive way. Some of us refer to this new found directed awareness as the power and potency of intention setting. Cogito ergo sum (I think, therefore I am) is a philosophical Latin statement proposed by Rene' Descartes. This is a bold statement that assumes that we are what we think. It also reflects on our observation of the reality of our very existence. In this workshop, we will use asana and meditation to study our relationship with our thinking mind and to notice how it may serve us better. We will play with deep soul searching and intention setting. This is a create your own reality experience. All levels welcome.
