About the Studio
We provide mats, blocks and blankets. Please bring your own towel or personal mat if desired.
Please remove your shoes before entering the studio.
Class size will never be over 15 students, ensuring individual attention for all students.

Yoga Mats:
As of August 1, 2009, Nirvana Yoga will start renting studio mats for $1 per class. This decision was made for 2 primary reasons. The most important was hygiene. In the Yoga Sutras, we read about sauca, pronounced sowcha. This means to shield your energy from negativity and stay clean, literally. There is more and more press recently about weird things on yoga mats and while we clean the mats at Nirvana, it only happens twice a month. The second reason is so that you have a special, sacred space that only you use and it contains the spirit of your practice. Your mat becomes a dedication to your memories of past yoga experience!
